How Consulting Services Can Save You Time and Money
When it comes to the development of a big solar project, you may have a lot of questions. Since solar development may not be your core business, our expertise can help you make informed decisions on your project. Our consulting services will allow you to invest time in your business rather than on technical research.
Given our experience designing, engineering and managing the construction of solar arrays, Telamon has often served as a consultant to save projects or help projects save money. Our team can create and optimize designs, run and conduct RFPs for the contractor (EPC firms) and then provide onsite oversight to ensure that the project stays on budget and comes in on time for mechanical and substantial completion. Ideally Telamon could provide this service on not just a one off situation, but as a partner to work with your teams to conduct the financial analysis and prioritization of sights to insure maximum cost savings and the attainment of carbon reduction goals across the country.
Design & Engineering
Procurement and Project Management
Telamon has developed relationships with leaders in the solar industry to ensure that we can provide the best equipment pricing. From Pre-Construction, Construction, and through Project Commissioning, Telamon is your partner every step of the way. Through a detailed project plan, we secure any necessary permitting, procure all materials, coordinate logistics, and track progress of construction. We ensure that every solar site is in compliance with all state and local safety and electrical requirements and is completed on-time and to our specifications.
Construction and Implementation
Telamon’s goal is to build to the client’s specifications while being on-time and on-budget. Our construction manager will oversee all construction to ensure everything is completed in a timely manner. Telamon will be in charge of Coordination and Procurement of all construction materials. After the completion of construction, we will ensure that all building and electrical components meet local and state permitting requirements. Once inspected, a system test will be conducted to ensure that the array is producing at its optimal level. We will ensure that the array passes all our commissioning guidelines on our checklist.
Telamon will work hand in hand with the client as a resource to navigate the entire solar installation. We will work with the utility and community to educate members on solar energy and guide them through the entire process from conception, development, construction, and production.
Operations & Maintenance
Ongoing Care for Your System
Operations and maintenance (O&M) are significant components of managing solar facilities. Telamon is proud to offer our clients O&M services, including reports, dispatch services, and annual site maintenance. Whether your system was installed by Telamon Energy or another developer, we offer ongoing care for your project.
Telamon has extensive experience managing utility scale solar arrays. With over 201 megawatts in operation, Telamon provides daily production, insolation and radiance data to the owner for both accounting and billing. Using state of the art remote monitoring software, Telamon has real time data available at the touch of a button and operations & maintenance services which are immediately deployed to preserve production and minimize downtown.
